  My granddaughters both attend Montessori Children's House and I have found it to be the most wonderful experience for both of them. we have tried other centres but this facility stands out for many reasons but I believe that the carers are patient, attentive, and present. They really were consistent with how they looked after the girls especially during the times when they transitioned to a different room as they grew older. Like most children, the move to a new environment general brings anxiety, but the carers managed their typical morning cries with the same approach and we soon moved past this. A credit to the team at Bowen Hills. Both girls love going, learning and developing under their care.

  As a first time parent we were nervous about putting our 12 month old boy (Max) into Day Care. The team at Avenues Bowen Hills have been amazing in settling Max into the centre. This review is based upon my first week experience of being a parent who has their child in 5 days per week; during the induction we were advised that the best path forward is to make the drop off as low key and quick as possible. We took this advice and each morning went into the room, placed his bag and handed Max to either one of his two primary carers. Whilst Max got teary when we kissed him good buy he soon settled (you can keep an eye on them from a distance in the foyer). Additionally either my wife or I would call the centre to get an update during the day on how Max was going, each time we were given a truthful answer and on the days were we needed to pick up Max early they provided some insight to how Max's day was going. On the first day Max lasted 3 hours and then by the Friday he was having both a morning and afternoon nap and lasted the full day. The facilities are beautiful, the team are amazing and we take great assurance knowing that Max is being looked after by people who care.

  We moved our son to Avenues Montessori after he had been in a traditional daycare for about a year. The Montessori method has been so beneficial to him and we have been excited to watch him further grow and develop. Joanne, the director, is so passionate and dedicated to Avenues and we love that about her. Our son loves his Guides and so do we. They are also super dedicated, and have called us even after hours to discuss any concerns that we have. When having these conversations I can tell that his Guides really know and understand him well...they have even given us ideas on things we can do around the home to further his development! I'm so pleased we made the move to Avenues.
