  My youngest child goes to Pelicans in the City Center 1, and I have never been happier with a kindy! The kids get a shirt, bottle, hat, meals provided and great educators and teachers in a very natural looking environment. The rooms are beautiful, set out spaciously, free of clutter and not over-stimulating. They still feature your children's artwork, which is great! It is well worth the fees! My son has Miss Kaitlyn in the Kindy room, who is a qualified Early Learning Teacher - she is amazing and a definite asset to Team Pelicans!

  My 3 children have attended Pelicans Early Education - In the City (Cairns). I love the natural learning environment and am extremely excited about all of the changes taking place since the centres have come under new management. The things that I love the most would have to be,1. healthy meals are provided; 2. $$$ being spent on all new resources; 3. Outdoor areas getting completely renovated; 4. The new KindyHub app for parents which allows you to see what is/has happened in your child's day! We are very happy there :-)

  My daughter has attended Pelicans in the City One since she was 7 months old. Now nearly 4, she has gained so many skills and learnt wonderful knowledge thanks to the excellent educators and facilities at Pelicans in the City One. Starting in Babies room before progressing to Toddlers, then Junior Kindy and now Kindy, where a wonderful, qualified teacher delivers the Kindy syllabus to the kids and she genuinely cares to have the kids 'school ready' in her delivery of the learning outcomes. Over the 2+ years we have been using the centre, we have seen many staff changes, but at the end of the day the care has always been excellent, with the kids needs and interests definitely at heart. Since Oxanda took over the centres some 18 month ago, the centres have been upgraded both in terms of fixtures and fittings and their equipment. The centres are clean, fresh and well maintained. The meals the kids receive are healthy and nutritious and the extra activities provided are well planned and suitable. Safety is a priority at the centres. My second daughter will be starting at the centre between now and the end of the year and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Pelicans in the City One.
